It used to be that if you were a young Aussie looking to hire a limo to ferry you and your mates to the high school formal, your choices ran from stretched Ford Fairlanes and Fairmonts, to imported Lincolns.
These days, when it’s time for you and the blokes to hit the town in style, the choice is a bit broader, from refitted coaches to stretched Hummers, through to Chrysler 300C limos.
Now, if you’re visiting the US and you’ve got the clams, you can take the long ride in an especially super italian super-saloon – the Maserati Quattroporte.
Miami-based limo group Padilla Car Collection has built a 10-seater version of Maserati’s tasty saloon, claiming to have the only example of a Quattroporte limousine in the world.
Seems like a reasonable bet, really.
