AUDI DISHED UP all the details for the high performance version of the new TT, called the TT RS, back in early March. Now, the mad scientists at Ingolstadt have released a bevy of new images.
Powered by a turbo-charged five-cylinder developing 250kW and 450Nm of torque, the 1450kg TT RS Coupe sprints to 100km/h in just 4.6 seconds.
While the Roadster is a touch heavier at 1510kg, it reaches the tonne only a tenth of a second slower than its hardtop sibling.
Top speed? An electronically limited 250km/h. That ought to do.
All that power reaches the road via a new six-speed manual transmission and Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system.
